Volunteer at the Mountain View Arts Festival
Where would a community be without the many volunteers who give back their expertise, talents, and time to benefit others?

The Mountain View Arts Festival Committee works on the festival celebrations all year round. As a supporter of our local art scene there are a variety of ways you can participate as a volunteer.

If you would like to become a "Festival Goodwill Ambassador", join us in 2018. Whether you're an individual or if your entire club or group want to help out, just say the word and we'll find a spot that showcases your talents and energies.

We believe if our volunteers know what is expected of them, they tend to be more satisfied with their involvement. We have updated our Volunteer Job Descriptions, making each task more manageable. If you see something that interests you, please e-mail us. We welcome individuals of all ages and abilities, as well as service clubs and non-profit organizations.

For our 2018 Arts Festival, we are looking for volunteers who might like to help out on Festival Days. Positions are many and varied. Some examples are: helping children make this year's Make-Your-Own-Souvenir crafts, assisting with set-up and take-down for Saturday night's concert, or even Stage hands at the Elks Hall.

The only qualifications are that you enjoy working/playing with others and helping people have a good time.

Hours vary from task to task, but generally 1 - 3 hour shifts, one or both days (September 7th or 8th) or for set-up and take down.

If you are interested in making a difference in your community, please call 403-994-0494.

Special thanks to the many organizations who help celebrate the arts at our festival. This list will be added to as commitments are made. Please check back.

Those who can, do.
Those who can do more, volunteer.
